This company allowed credit card fraud on my business account — they fought the bank when the bank tried to recoup the funds on my behalf and now this company refuses to refund my money. What recourse do I have?
Let me just make it clear that this was fraud — someone else got hold of my credit card details and used my card without my permission. I never contacted this company nor did I ever attempt to buy anything from them. I certainly did not agree to any “terms.” This was made quite clear when I contacted the company about this matter and yet they still refused to refund my money. Is this ethical? I don’t think so.

You don’t have any. You stated that you read and agreed to the terms and conditions when you entered your information. One of those conditions are as follows.:

Expensive lesson, In the future read the “terms” before entering you credit card info.

EDIT—In that case report it to your local police. Get the police report and file in small claims court. The case will be held in your district court and the company will probably not send anyone to defend the case (cost prohibitive) and you should win by default.–I trust you reported the card stolen to the credit card company.
